Thanksgiving 2020

I can not believe it is already Thanksgiving time! This year has gone by fast but a lot has happened. While Thanksgiving may look different this year, there are still so many ways to enjoy it! Don’t let our circumstances cloud our view of all the blessings we have! There are still SOOOO many things to be grateful for!

Thankful for…

I am super thankful and grateful for my family. They have supported my blog since I said I wanted to make one. During this time of quarantine, our life has become slower causing us to spend more time together. We have become much closer as a family and I am so thankful for that.

Another thing I am grateful for is ALL OF YOU! I am so so so happy and thankful that y’all continue to read my posts and subscribed to my blog. I am super thankful that I made a blog and that I have received so much love from it! Thank you so much guys! ❤

There are so many more things I am thankful for such as my dog, food, being able to exercise, school, and friends! What are you thankful for? Comment down below someone and something you are grateful for!!

Be present in all things and thankful for all things. – Maya Angelou

I hope all of you have an amazing Thanksgiving full of traditions, blessings, and fun memories! Remember, there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for! See y’all next week!

My Top 10 Tips for Staying Motivated

Hey everyone! Welcome to this week’s blog post! I hope you enjoy and leave feeling inspired!

Hi guys! I hope all of you had an amazing week! In this blog post, I am going to be sharing my top 10 tips on how to stay motivated and stay inspired. Make sure to subscribe to my blog to receive emails whenever I upload a new post! Enjoy!!

Let’s be real. We all have those days where we would rather stay in bed, watch Netflix all day, and eat gallons of ice cream. Sometimes, it is easy to feel uninspired throughout your climb. It happens to me too! But, there are some little tips and advice that will help you stay driven throughout your journey. Here are my top 10 tips for staying motivated!

My Top 10 Tips for Staying Motivated

1. Find your Why

Finding your why will provide you with a purpose. When you have a purpose for climbing up your mountain, you will have more drive to keep you going along your journey.

2. Have a Support Group

Another key to staying motivated is having a group of friends or family to keep you accountable. Find individuals who will support and motivate you rather than discourage you.

3. Change up your Workout Routine

Maybe a reason you are unmotivated is because you are bored. Find a workout that you ENJOY and have fun doing!

4. Be Patient with Yourself

Understand that running up your mountain takes time. If you do not see results or progress right away, do not be discouraged and give up! Keep working hard and results are bound to happen!

5. Take Rest Days

So what you rest one day? Rest days are important to help rejuvenate your body and mind and will only help you, not hurt you. Oh, and rest days will NOT slow you down. 🙂

6. Positive Self-Talk

You know that voice that you constantly hear in your head? Well, that voice could either encourage or discourage you. Talk to yourself as you would to a friend: kindly, positively, and happily.

7. Recognize your Progress

Recognizing your progress will cause you want to keep advancing forward. It will motivate you to continue to run up your mountain and enjoy the climb.

8. Do it for Yourself

Run up your mountain for YOU, not for anyone else. Make yourself proud!

9. Celebrate your Accomplishments

This one ties in with number 7 but it is important to reward yourself. Celebrate your victories, big or small. This will motivate you to keep on climbing higher.

10. Think of your View

Whenever you feel unmotivated, just think of how AMAZING your view is going to be once you reach the top of your mountain. Work hard and stay motivated so you can reach the top and have amazing results!

I hope these tips help you stay motivated and inspired. Just remember, appreciate the climb as much as the view. The climb and journey will be difficult, but SO worth it! Have an amazing week! Keep running up your mountain!

The Truth behind The Climb

Hey everyone! Welcome to this week’s blog post. I hope you enjoy and feel inspired after reading!

Hi guys! Happy Sunday! How was your week? Did you find out what is waiting for you at the top of your mountain? In this post, we are going to discover the truth about consistency and hard work, learn more about how to climb up a mountain, and hear one of my personal experiences. Enjoy!

Consistency and Hard-Work

Many think that once you take your first step towards your goals, everything after that will be simple and easy. However, that isn’t quite the case. In order to reach the top of your mountain, consistency and hard work are very much needed! Working hard helps you reach your goals and being consistent will help you reach your goals faster.

What’s after the first step?

After taking your first step, it is important to know that it is up to you whether you reach the top of your mountain or not. It is your choice whether you reach your goals and have an amazing view, or if you quit and just settle with the view you already have. There are no elevators while climbing a mountain. It is all up to you, your work ethic, and your will to keep pushing. Nothing is going to get you to the top. No one is going to get you to the top. BUT, you can get yourself to the top!

My Personal Experience

If you know me, then you know that I LOVE to run. (I know, weird!) Over quarantine, I quit running as much as I used to then one day I decided to get back into it (my first step). I went to a trail expecting to run 5 miles but I was very much mistaken and could barely do 2! I could have felt discouraged and chose to never go back, but instead I used that as motivation to work harder. Since that day, I have been going to the trail consistently and working hard. Now, I can run 7 miles without stopping! Throughout my climb, there were days that I didn’t want to wake up early, days where I didn’t feel like running, days where I didn’t want to work hard, but I pushed past those days and persevered. Because I worked hard, enjoyed the climb, and embraced the difficulty, I was able to reach the top of my mountain and be better than what I used to be!

In the chat, comment your favorite type of exercise to do! (example: cross-fit, dancing, walking, etc.) Mine is running!

I hope you enjoyed this weeks blog post and left feeling inspired! Have an amazing week and see you next Sunday!
